I looked far and wide for a specific Patagonia bag that was out of stock by the manufacturer. Not available through ebay, couldn’t find it anywhere. Low and behold, Tomichi Cycles had the bag. While they don’t have an e-commerce site, and the store was well over 150 miles away, I called on a whim to see if they would sell it over the phone. To my surprise, the gentlemen I spoke with, Bill, was more than happy to help me out and arranged for the backpack to be sold over the phone.

Bill and his wife, went the extra mile to get the bag out to me, even though they don’t offer online shopping. So appreciative of their attention to their customers- next time I am in Gunnison, I’ll be stopping by their store to show my support. Thank you again for the great service!

Nice shop with an impressive selection of parts, especially right now.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff – not only did they perform a quick repair, but they also provided a map and highlighted a good ride for our group. Will visit any time I’m in Gunnison.

Amazing bike shop. 2 min ride from Western Campus and their mechanic is top notch. Super easy going and always happy to help with any bike issues whenever I stop in. My go to spot in Gunnison for bike questions.

The staff are AMAZING. Our son went on our Nols trip and we had 6 pages of very specific items he needed. We showed her the list and she helped us gather it all. She even let us know if she had an item on the sale rack.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop! We’ve been coming in for the last couple of years. Recently Susan helped me surprise my husband with a new bike after he went to have a spoke repaired.

We got a great bike and they took their time explaining how everything works. This husband and wife team is wonderful!

Went in for a handlebar. They didn’t have what I needed, but I got excellent service and some chain lube. I also wanted to buy a new pump, but the staff said that my existing pump had a lifetime warranty so they fixed it on the spot. Every staff member was super attentive and seemed like they truly were concerned with my enjoyment of my shopping experience. As I left, one employee even offered up information about local trails and got out a map. If all businesses were run like this one, there would not be any grumpy people in the world. 5 stars.

I had a flat on my bike that I brought from Kansas and had only a few days to use. Instead of fighting changing it myself, I took it in to them. The owner fixed it quickly and also showed me how to change the tube more efficiently. He also spent time showing us maps of the Hartman rock area that we were able to ride the next day! Super friendly, down to earth people. Highly recommend them!

Bought a bike here today! Susan and her husband who own the shop were both incredibly helpful and friendly. I had a lot of questions and they both seemed eager to answer and help me out in any way they could. I love when people are passionate about their work and their hobbies. It always shows. I also work in sales and always try to be honest with my customers about what they are buying. I felt the same respect from Susan. Much love to these people!
