The end of ski season is one last excuse to celebrate, dress up in silly costumes and gather for memorable events like CBMR’s Pond Skim presented by Kona Big Wave!

Join in our Closing Weekend fun and go out with a splash!

Test your skills on April 6 — or join the crowd and watch to see who skimmed it best.

Bib Pick Up at Butte 66 from 11 AM – 12 PM

Helmets Required, Costumed Encouraged!

Please, NO POLES allowed.

Ages 8+ welcome with parental consent at Bib Pick Up. Please note, an on-site emergency contact and a change of dry clothes and towel are required for minors in order to participate!

Pond Skim starts at 1 PM with DJ Red spinning beats and prize giveaways you won’t want to miss!

Best of all, it’s for a good cause! All proceeds benefit Crested Butte State of Mind – a nonprofit working to connect our community to resources, education and free counseling scholarships to improve mental wellness, eliminate stigma and lower the rate of suicide in the Gunnison Valley.
