Elk Avenue Historic Walking Tour
Crested Butte became a registered National Historic District in 1974 to preserve our distinctive buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Join us on an Elk Avenue Walking Tour to learn about the history of the buildings, mining history, and stories from the community.
Elk Avenue Walking Tours are offered for the Summer 2022 season on Wednesdays & Fridays from 10:00am – 11:30am, and meet at the Museum at 4th and Elk Avenue.
Tours cost $20 for members and $25 for non-members. These tours are hosted whether it’s snowing or the sun is shining, so please come prepared for any weather!
