Crested Butte Mountain Resort kicks off it’s 61st winter season November 23rd, 2022.

Join us as we kick off the winter season at the Butte! Featuring DJ Red from 10am-2pm on the Butte 66 deck, giveaways and free tutus, a limited edition Opening Day poster and more!

We’re so excited to welcome winter back to the mountain! Come out to help us celebrate and enjoy free coffee, hot cocoa and pastries from 8:30am-10am, DJ Red from 10am-2pm, and free tutus and other swag!

New this year, we’re giving away limited edition Opening Day posters designed by Roshambo!

Be sure to stop by Butte 66 once they open at 11am to get yours. Of course, first chair will get to break the banner and kick off the season! See you on the slopes.

If you are not a skier or snowboarder, there are still a plethora of activities for you to enjoy as well- surrounded by 1.7 million acres of National Forest, you can snowshoe, fat bike, and cross country ski, right out your front door in any direction.
