Alternative People

Based in Gunnison, Colorado, Alternative People is a jam-fusion quartet with influences widely ranging from funk, metal, rock, bluegrass and hip-hop.

This group has spent multiple years building their groovy sound that moves from entrancing beats to rhythmic melodies and beyond.

Alternative People’s improvisational style weaves together a multitude of genres to create a truly unique sound where no two shows are ever the same.

The band is comprised of Kevin Doherty on the keys, guitar, and vocals, Sebastian Akesson on the bass and vocals, Dana Shaw on the drums, and Anna-Marie Davidson on percussion and vocals.
