Alpenglow: Moorea Masa + The Mood

Alpenglow is back and better than ever! Join us for the 30th summer of our free, community concert series.

Rain or shine, music starts at 5:30. Bring a chair, a blanket, and your dancing shoes! Local food vendors and a bar will be available at every concert to create the perfect picnic.

Please no dogs, no outside alcohol, and no glass. Please do not dump ice onto Town Park! Take the bus or ride your bike – it’s good for the planet! If you do drive, please park at Crested Butte Community School or at the 4-way Stop.

Vendor’s this week: Log Dawg Weiner Wagon, The Divvy, + Third Bowl Ice Cream

This week’s concert in the series is Moorea Masa + The Mood!

Moorea Masa has been singing since she could talk. Her voice has the power to move mountains, or to move grown men to tears. Her songs can transport listeners from lush green forests to dimly-lit juke joints. An Oregonian Native, Moorea has just released her debut solo EP “Oh Mother”, an album inspired by her surroundings, this year.

Moorea has toured the world and shared a stage with artists k.d Lang, Allen Stone, Big Wild, Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive) The Motet, Nick Waterhouse, headlined tours in Europe, and supported other artists including Corrine Bailey Rae, Emily King, Lawrence, Bernhoft and more.

Center for the Arts strives to enrich and engage the community by fostering artistic expression and cultural experiences in Crested Butte.
