33rd Annual Crested Butte Rotary Duckie Race

Sunday, August 7, 2022 – 2PM MDT Downtown Crested Butte (Coal Creek).

A fantastically fun event for kids and adults alike, the Great Rubber Duckie Race sends hundreds of small and adorable rubber duckies down Coal Creek every summer.

A ticket to purchase your own duck benefits local scholarships and non-profit organizations. Hosted by the Crested Butte/Mt Crested Butte Rotary Club, this is an aquatic race like no other, and it’s a “Daffy” sight you won’t forget.

And the race begins at the Crested Butte Rotary Rubber Ducky Race.

This year’s art work is created by Crested Butte’s own Madeline Artac, Mad World Magic. Madeline’s art consists of nature scenes, animals, prehistoric themes and pop art. Madeline also enjoys customizing pieces of clothing or accessories to make art wearable. She has lived in Colorado since 2015 and attended Western State University.
