It’s infamous, maybe even notorious as Elk Avenue closes down on July 4th for the wildest, rowdiest 4th of July Celebration in the Rockies. What starts as a traditional Independence Day Parade with an eclectic CB twist, ends in a once experienced, never-forgotten water fight free for all as the CB Fire Dept. rides in.

10:45 am – Parade Emcee begins live commentary.
11:00 am – Parade starts up Elk Ave from the 4-Way stop, Beer/Wine Garden opens.
12:00 pm – Parade turns and ends on 2nd St. south of Elk.
12:15 pm – DJ Red spins tune at 3rd St and Elk.
12:30 pm – Waterworld on Beckwith Ave at the end of 1st St.
12:30 pm to 3:00 pm – July 4th Celebration and block party on Elk w/ DJ Red.

Details: Join us for the 49th Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast! This event is a Crested Butte tradition you won’t want to miss featuring a delicious pancake breakfast, ladder truck rides, lawn games, and balloon art. Be sure to wear your RED, WHITE, and BLUE! We encourage attendees to bring their own reusable plates, cups, and cutlery. Proceeds from this event support the Crested Butte Fire and EMS Volunteer Squad, the High School Explorers Club, and Crested Butte Fallen Fire Fighter Fund.

Details: The Town of Mt. Crested Butte is proud to present a new kind of July 4th show! Due to a combination of moving towards becoming a more sustainable and eco-friendly town, historically high fire levels, and major disruptions in supply chain the Town of Mt Crested Butte will be hosting its first 4th of July Laser show! A live DJ will play from 7pm to 10 pm and the laser show will start at 9 pm. Catch it all at the Red Lady Stage at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! This is an all ages event and alcohol will be available for those 21+. This show will not be visible from town. Best viewing will be from the Red Lady Stage at the CBMR Base Area. Hosted by the Town of Mt. Crested Butte.
